The person dealing the cards, or the player on the button in home games.

In poker, the "dealer" is the individual responsible for distributing cards. In casinos or formal games, this is a dedicated staff member who deals the cards and manages the pot. In home games, the dealer is the player holding the dealer button, a rotating position that determines the order of betting and assumes the role of dealing the cards.
