Community cards

Shared face-up cards (flop, turn, river) that all players combine with their hole cards.

In depth

Community cards are the shared face-up cards (flop, turn, and river) dealt in Texas Hold’em and other community card games. All players use these cards in combination with their private hole cards to form the best possible five-card hand. They determine the board texture and shape the betting rounds as players assess how the cards interact with their holdings.
