Backdoor
A draw that needs both the turn and the river to complete (a runner-runner draw).
In depth
A backdoor draw is a hand that requires both the turn and river cards to complete, such as a flush or straight. Unlike a direct draw needing only one additional card, a backdoor draw depends on two consecutive favorable cards, resulting in lower probability. This type of equity can provide supplemental value in strategic decisions but is not a primary factor in hand evaluation.
