A squeeze in poker is a substantial re-raise executed after an initial raise and at least one call, simultaneously pressuring both the original raiser and the caller(s). This play leverages the increased pot size and perceived ranges of opponents to force difficult decisions, often capitalizing on the reluctance of callers to commit with marginal hands. It differs from a standard three-bet by targeting a multi-way pot rather than a single opponent.
