Reverse implied odds

The risk of making your hand and still losing more money to a better hand.

In depth

Reverse implied odds refer to the potential cost of completing a drawing hand only to lose additional chips to a stronger holding. Unlike implied odds, which anticipate extra winnings when a draw hits, this concept highlights the risk of further losses when the made hand is not the best, particularly with non-nut draws.
