Omaha

A community-card variant where players get four hole cards and must use exactly two.

In depth

Omaha is a community-card poker variant where each player is dealt four private hole cards. The core rule requires that a player’s final five-card hand must consist of exactly two hole cards combined with exactly three community cards. This strict two-card requirement distinguishes Omaha from other poker forms and fundamentally influences hand selection and strategy.
