Wrap

A large Omaha straight draw with many outs using multiple connected cards.

In depth

In Omaha poker, a *wrap* refers to a powerful straight draw formed by multiple connected cards from both the player’s hand and the board. Unlike standard straight draws, wraps span a wider range of ranks, offering significantly more outs to complete the straight. Since Omaha requires using exactly two hole cards, four-card starting hands often create these expansive draws. Wraps are distinguished by their broader coverage and higher likelihood of improvement, making them a key factor in assessing board connectivity and hand potential.
